The Thursday Sessions online aspergillosis support meeting, every Thursday at 10 am UK time, illustrated with three people joining from home.
The Thursday Sessions: friendly online aspergillosis support, every Thursday at 10 am UK time.

Thursday Sessions are free, informal online discussions for people affected by aspergillosis, including patients, carers, family members and supporters.

They are a welcoming place to hear from others with similar experiences, share practical ideas, ask questions and feel less alone. You do not need to be an expert on aspergillosis, and there is no pressure to speak—you are very welcome simply to listen at first.

Would you like to join a Thursday Session?

Thursday discussions are held weekly. Visit our online meetings page for the current time, discussion topic and joining link.

You can usually join by computer, tablet or phone, without creating an account. Joining a few minutes early can make the technology feel less rushed.

Discussion summaries

After selected sessions, we publish short summaries of the questions, experiences and practical issues raised by patients and carers. They are not transcripts, and no individual is identified. Instead, they capture the themes that may help others living with aspergillosis.

Support can mean different things to different people

Some people come to understand more about their condition; others value the opportunity to talk with people who understand. Many find that what they need changes over time. You can take part in whatever way feels right for you.

Our meetings provide information and peer support, not individual medical advice. Please continue to discuss symptoms, treatment decisions and urgent health concerns with your own clinical team.
