Mufananidzo wakafanana

Isu tinowanzo kurwara, kufema kwedu kunouya mukufemereka,
Tinozvitya, tinoteterera kuti tinzwirwe tsitsi.
Iwo mweya wekufema watinotora unorwa nesu nemhepo uye rasp,
Dambudziko redu rakaoma; hunhu hwedu hwakaoma uye hwakaoma.

Asi chimbomira; imbomira kweminiti, tarisa-tarisa, unoona here?
Avo vanotida, vanotichengeta, vanotirera uye vanogara padivi pedu,
Vaya vadiwa, vanun'una, shamwari kana mudzimai, vakamira padhuze,
Vakabata ruoko rwedu, vachipenengura chiso, vachivanza kuchema kwavaiita.

Naizvozvo kana tichitambudzika, tichizvitutumadza uye tichifemereka, musan’un’una, musapopota;
Padivi pedu pane simba, ruoko rwekutsigira, nzeve yekunzwa.
Vadikanwi vedu vanotiona tichitambura vasingaratidzi misodzi,
Hupenyu hwedu hwakaoma, huzere nekupererwa, asi isu tinoona ziso rinopenya here?

Mukadzi wangu idombo rangu, my oxygen mask, mukoti wangu akatendeka,
Ndine rombo rakanaka, handisi ndega, ndine munhu ane hanya,
Kutambura tinozviita, kazhinji ichokwadi, asi usacheme, usatuka,
Mumwe wedu anorwara asi tose tinonzwa kurwadziwa, kutambura kwatinogoverana.

Shamwari kana mhuri, mukoma kana mwanakomana, murume kana mukadzi,
Isu tese tinofanira kurangarira avo vanovanza misodzi yavo, vanovanza kurwadziwa kwavo,
