How do I… use blogging to feel better?

Blogging can be a great way for aspergillosis patients and carers to connect with each other and to share any thoughts, feelings, or even frustrations you might have. Here are some of our tips for getting started with your blog and contributing to the online aspergillosis community.

Getting started: Read blogs by some of our patients to see how it works and to get an idea of the style and tone you’d like your blog to have. Jill has a great, regularly updated blog about her life as an Aspergillosis sufferer.
Make an account with WordPress, or a similar software – these will help you design and create your first blog, without needing to learn any complex IT skills.

Alternatives to blogging: If you’re not keen on writing, and think you’d prefer to get your thoughts out there in a different way, why not try video blogging (vlogging)? Stewart, another aspergillosis patient, has a great vlog on YouTube that you can watch to get an idea of how it works.
